The City Didn’t Hold Still [2024]
This series was created using expired film and a simple camera, in a city that had decided not to stay still.
The images are flawed: light has leaked in, numbers have entered the frame, the compositions are misaligned. But these are not mistakes—they are the city’s own reaction to being captured; a refusal of clarity.
Buildings waver, memories fade, and colors shift like a dream dissolving.
Each frame preserves something, but not everything. It is a part of a moment, not a complete one.
The city is in motion, and so is the film.
Nothing here is reliable—not the light, not the architecture, not time.
These are not postcards from a journey.
They are fragments from a city that had already moved on before the shutter closed.
