According to Iranian folklore, Persian Gulf’s main source is the Puyitic Sea, which is mythical in nature and flows in the South of Iran, retaining its Iranian name with deep roots in the Persian language, mythology and culture.
The Persian Gulf provides a platform to moderate Iran’s geographic landmass and generously provides sea shells and pearl to the people of the South.
This gulf has long been a staple in Persian history and legend, and even the Greek geographer Strabo (born 50 years before Christ) referred to it as Pars.
This blue gulf with its turbulent waves, grand air stream, flowing waters in the Southern of Iran has witnessed many an event and been at the service of all faithfully, while being in custody of the Persian Gulf identity for thousands of years.
